OPTARSS II

OPTARSS II (Often referred OPTARSII, OPTARS II, or OPTARSSII) is officially the:
Operations, Planning, Training, and Resource Support Services contract.
It's the Army's master, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity, task order driven, operations contract. The goal is to provide an expedited ordering process to satisfy the needs of operations customers throughout the Army and Department of Defense (DoD).
The contract is coordinated out of the Army's Southern Region Contracting Center (SRCC) - East.
Presolicitation/Industry Conference started December 2007.

Interested parties should keep in mind that industry feedback for OPTARSS II is required by close of business on June 13, 2007. The feedback can be sent via email on word document format to Ms Yvonne M. Earls and yvonne.earls@forscom.army.mil. The other email address to OPTARS II information is OPTARSSII@forscom.army.mil.
Based on feedback and stated needs, the Army will issue its official RFP February 2008, and the contract award is expected by August 2008.
